NICK is an award-winning documentary cinematographer in love with capturing the enigmatic experience of the human condition and the beauty of the natural world. His work has taken him across the states and abroad, screened at international film festivals and headlined major commercial campaigns. From 2016 to 2018, Nick was a DP for the Emmy nominated HBO series, Vice News Tonight, where he shot over a hundred documentary shorts in almost every imaginable condition and location. He is currently DP’ing the second season of Showtime’s The Trade as well as two separate feature documentaries about immigration and social justice respectively. Nick comes armed with an FAA remote pilot license, PADI and HEFAT certifications, as well as an anthropology degree from Columbia University in New York City. More importantly, he can make fun of you in Spanish and ride a motorcycle. Nick is always looking for the next adventure -- the more challenging the better -- so don't hesitate to holler for more information about his availability, rates and gear package...or to simply grab a cup of coffee. Nick grew up in Nashville, TN and is now based in Brooklyn, NY. He has a surfboard named Tango and grows (and eats) tomatoes in his free time.
